Royal Bodewes: Innovative Shipbuilding for International Transportation
Royal Bodewes, a Dutch shipbuilder with more than 200 years of experience, completed the construction of a specialized cement carrier for the Taiwanese shipping company U-Ming. The 115-meter-long vessel combines a high cargo capacity with an energy-efficient design and was developed for the efficient transport of cement. With the support of Atradius DSB, the export transaction was facilitated and the risks for the Dutch shipbuilder were mitigated.
TeamCo Shipyard: Dutch expertise in river cruise ships
TeamCo Shipyard, which specializes in the construction and outfitting of inland waterway and seagoing vessels, secured a major contract to supply river cruise ships to Royal Caribbean Cruises. The innovative vessels are being designed with a lighter hull and sustainable technologies to reduce fuel consumption and increase operational efficiency.
