On 1 September 2025, a public market consultation was launched, marking the first phase of this process. In this phase, the government presents various questions for market participants to answer. In addition, interested parties are given the opportunity to submit their own questions regarding the tender. The purpose is to ensure that the tender is aligned as closely as possible with market needs.
In January 2026, the tender procedure will formally open for submissions, and Atradius fully intends to participate. Until the summer, a dialogue will take place between the state and selected candidates to further explain and discuss the proposals. In the final quarter of 2026, it will be announced which party has been awarded the tender.
With 92 years of experience as the administrator of the export credit insurance, Atradius is committed to this process confidently.
All public tenders are conducted through the official procurement organization of the Dutch government (Rijksinkoopsamenwerking/RIS).
