Bribery
In the Netherlands, bribery in all forms is prohibited and punishable. The Dutch state and Atradius DSB do not want to be involved in transactions in which bribery has taken place and aim for all ekv-covered transactions to be bribery-free. We therefore ask you to sign an anti-bribery declaration when issuing a policy.

Anti-bribery statement
In the Netherlands, all forms of bribery are prohibited and punishable. The Dutch state and Atradius DSB do not want to be involved in transactions where bribery has taken place and want to ensure that ekv-covered transactions are free of bribery. We ask you to sign an anti-bribery statement at the time we issue a policy.

Excluded from coverage
Although Atradius DSB insures a lot, certain transactions are excluded from our coverage. These include exclusions in the fossil value chain, exclusions related to animal welfare, and specific exclusions relevant to coverage under the Dutch Good Growth Fund.
Exclusion list
Since January 1, 2023 there are restrictions on the fossil energy sector following the implementation of the COP26 declaration. In the Exclusion List ekv you can see which activities are excluded from insurance by Atradius DSB.
Own risk
The percentage covered is also flexible. Usually it is between 90 and 98%. So you retain an excess of between 2 and 10% of the contract value. You may transfer this excess to another party, such as your bank or a supplier. Please ask our permission for this first.
Do you need financing for your project?
It may be that your customer asks for financing to pay for your operations. Here too, Atradius Dutch State Business can help you. See below under Financing policy.
Foreign banks
Our Financing Policy is intended for Dutch and foreign banks. Banks that are not based in an OECD country are eligible for insurance if they have been approved after a reputation check.
Refinancing
Is the financing provided only after the export has already taken place? Then we speak of refinancing. We can also insure this with the Financing Policy within certain limits.
