Export Credit Guarantee
When a bank finances the export of capital goods, it will fund itself for this purpose. This may be from its own resources, but often the bank will in turn raise financing (funding) for this purpose.

Through Atradius DSB, CIRR financing is available to Dutch exporters for most non-military export transactions.
Project Finance
Credit insurance is not only taken out on existing businesses. There are also options if the borrower has no "track record" and we cannot fall back on guarantees.
