Afke Zeilstra
Afke works in the Economic Research Department where she was responsible for macroeconomic and country risk analyses for various emerging markets for countries in Western and Southern Africa. In recent years she has specialized in the country risk of African countries.
Afke Zeilstra has worked at Atradius since 2004. In her role, she advises Atradius and the Dutch state on country policies and participates in the OECD's Country Risk Experts Group. She has also worked on topical issues such as renewable energy. Afke has extensive knowledge of emerging markets, low-income countries and country risk. Prior to joining Atradius, she worked in the private sector as a macroeconomist.
Afke earned a master's degree in International Financial Economics from the University of Amsterdam.
