The Economic Research Department consists of a team of nine economists working for both the Atradius Group and Atradius Dutch State Business, the official export credit insurer of the Netherlands. Our team's core expertise covers country risks, international trade, energy markets and corporate insolvencies.
We follow political and economic developments at global, regional and national levels. Thus, we gain insight into global developments. We also monitor relevant developments, such as the impact of Covid-19, climate change and the energy transition. Through in-depth reports, research briefings, presentations and interviews, we share our insights with clients, stakeholders and the media.
Our expertise includes model-based insolvency forecasts. Furthermore we use a proprietary global political risk rating model. And finally, our country risk analysis covers all countries in the world, with a particular focus on emerging economies.
